• Colored mascara is not always ugly, so don’t leave this thought behind. Many women are afraid of using colored mascara. Just stick to a phew rules; black mascara is always possible, except in combination with blond hair. These blonds choose to wear brown mascara daily, and they only put on black when they go out at night, for example. Blue mascara can light up blue eyes, but when you wear blue eye shadow and blue eye liner it’s to much. Purple eye shadow goes good with brown hair.
• Begin at the basis of your lashes and not only on the end. This makes your lashes look longer.
• Use thin, small mascara brushes. With a small mascara brush you can better reach the eye angle. Thin brushes give you more control over your brush. (of course you know how stupid it is to mess up your eyes with this thing)
• Wink with your eyes. Wink a couple of times on the brush so that the ends of your lashes are getting an extra coat, so it looks like they have more volume.
• Protect with powder. Put some (foundation)powder under your eyes. Sometimes your mascara can get very messy, because you just put oil-like remover or eye cream under your eyes.
• Put a second coat over your lashes. It looks like you have more volume, but don’t wait to long for a second coat, otherwise it’s going to stick together, en we told you before, it’s an absolute failure when you have lashes that stick together.
• Bend your mascara brush. Do professionals really have a better mascara hand, or does it just look they have? Bend your brush in an edge! It’s a tip from the professionals. and last but not least; • Don’t pump with your mascara. Moving the brush in and out is not necessary, and because you move it up and down, you pump your mascara full of air, and so the mascara will dry easier.
